DICE share new single 'Call Me For A Good Time'
DICE
With their second album I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View close on the horizon, today DICE drop new single ‘Call Me For A Good Time’.
A moody, late-night indie anthem for fans of The Strokes, Foals, and Phoenix, the track leans heavily into DICE’s newly recalibrated, sophisticated DNA, trading their signature daytime energy for a haze of driving basslines and shimmering synth layers courtesy of multi-instrumentalist Jay Watson (POND, Tame Impala). It’s the atmospheric soundtrack to the blurred lines of an afterparty—capturing the exact moment where desire borders on addiction.
Says the band; "A track of desire, addiction and devotion. It's got that late night feeling and was definitely written to serve its title. 'Call Me for a Good Time' is us stepping directly into the afterparty of our mid-20s. Having Jay Watson from POND jump on synths was incredible—he brought this amazing, swirling nocturnal texture that completely dialled in that head-spinning, hazy feeling when you're caught between heaven or hell at 3 AM, lost in the noise, and just looking for a real connection to numb the surroundings."
Set for release on 31 July, I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View also contains previously released singles ‘Loose Change’ and ‘COOLER’. For this album, DICE pivoted away from the grit of their debut album Midnight Zoo, toward a more expansive, blissful, lighter, euphoric world. The result is a 10-track album that is a windows down anthem for radical self-reflection and liberation, capturing a band finally flying at their own altitude.
Comprising of Ben Hodge, Tom King, Regan Beazley, and Sam Barrett-Lennard, the Perth-based four-piece makes music for authentic connection. Following the 2024 release of their ARIA-charting debut album, the band rapidly grew from local indie favourites into a global touring act.
In 2025, they expanded their sonic palette with the WINGS EP and took their electrifying live show to larger stages across London, New York City, Toronto, Amsterdam and Sydney. At home, the band has maintained a place on triple j’s Most Played Artists list for three consecutive years with fan favourite songs including ‘Chasing Hearts’, ‘Alter Ego’, and ‘Hourglass’.
