Eddie Chacon announced his signing to Stones Throw earlier this year with the single “Holy Hell”, produced by John Carroll Kirby. His latest song “Comes and Goes” is out now with a video directed by Sissy Chacon, shot at Villa Can Rudayla, Ibiza.

Eddie Chacon says “Comes and Goes” is about moving on from the past and coming to terms with impermanence: "This life can ever so slowly talk you out of who you are. You wake up one day and realize that you're someplace you never expected to be.” The video features John Carroll Kirby and Logan Hone - look out for him standing in the sea roaring his sax.

Director Sissy Chacon says , “I like to present Eddie as the dignified, talented, foxy, thoughtful gentleman I know him to be without any forced storyline to distract. In this purely gentle and serene environment, which cradled us like babies, we were able to create something simple and compelling.”

Pleasure, Joy and Happiness, Eddie’s 2020 album written with and produced by John Carroll Kirby, marked his reemergence in the music scene after a lengthy hiatus following his success in Charles & Eddie, the ‘90s neo soul duo with a #1 international hit, “Would I Lie To You”. The FADER deemed Eddie a “low-key R&B legend” and the album was praised by the Los Angeles Times, Guardian, New York Times, and many more.

Eddie recently played two shows at LA’s In Sheep’s Clothing HQ, which both sold out within days. He’ll be in Europe later this month alongside John Carroll Kirby, playing two sold-out shows in London with a full band, as well as Überjazz Festival in Hamburg and several other shows.
