Cowboy Hunters

Praise for Cowboy Hunters

"exuberant rave-rock hybrid that’s messy, nihilistic and oodles of fun." - Rolling Stone UK

"It's absurd. It makes me laugh, but the music is so weirdly aggressive it makes me want to smash something, or maybe jump into a mosh pit of clowns."Stereogum

“They achieve the holy grail of looking like pop stars while sounding possessed.” - Louder Than War

“Snarky and sharp, with now-signature mock-serious lyricism.” - The Line of Best Fit

"Cowboy Hunters have a buzz growing. It’s easy to see why."The Arts Desk

“Cowboy Hunters leave nothing behind, directly calling out the cowards in a wall of sound.” - God Is In The TV

“In just five tracks, Cowboy Hunters have proven why they’ve cultivated such a fanbase in such a short time.” - Out Of Rage

Today, Glasgow duo Cowboy Hunters release their new EP EPeepee.

Following earlier singles ‘Money For Drugs’, ‘Have A Pint’ and ‘Shag Slags Not Flags’, EPeepee sees the band fully realise the world they’ve been building - one that moves between absurd humour, blunt-force social commentary and moments of genuinely heavy, cathartic release.

Across its five tracks, the EP captures Cowboy Hunters at their most direct and unfiltered. Sharing vocal duties throughout, the duo trade lines before colliding in unison, backed by a deliberately stripped-back setup of bass and drums that amplifies the physical impact of their sound. It’s a dynamic that has quickly become central to their identity, both on record and, increasingly, on stage.

Excitement has been steadily building around Cowboy Hunters, with support from Stereogum, NME, Rolling Stone UK, CLASH, The Line of Best Fit, Hot Press, NOTION, FLOOD, Far Out Magazine and The Skinny, among others.

That momentum has been driven in no small part by the band’s live reputation. Having already shared bills with Franz Ferdinand and English Teacher, alongside tours with Bob Vylan and Sleaford Mods, Cowboy Hunters have built a name as one of the UK’s most unpredictable and confrontational new live acts.

They are currently on the road supporting Witch Fever, with further dates continuing later this month, alongside a run of festival appearances including 2000 Trees, The Great Escape, End Of The Road and Attitude Festival.
