Lonely the Brave tease further new material

"We find ourselves in trying times at present.

As you may know, some of us are NHS key workers and as a result we know health and well-being is so incredibly important. Recent global events have shed a light & awareness of how we can all do our bit to ensure we’re acting with caution but also positively.

Escapism through music, film, art and literature is a huge thing for us, and we hope for you guys too. With that in mind, we wanted to share "Distant Light", a song we finished off during this isolation period. We hope some of you can borrow from it.

Let's look after each other."

Lonely The Brave saw a long-awaited and much-heralded return in April with "Bound", a track that received stellar plaudits across both press and radio. Whilst two members of the band have been working on the front line for the NHS (Mo spoke to NME about his experiences here) they’ve also been adding the finishing touches to album three.

Determined to stay true to their promise of a new dawn for the band, today they share further new material in the shape of "Distant Light". Unmistakably a Lonely The Brave song once more, chiming guitars cascade over a sky-scraping vocal in a fiercely melodic paean to retaining hope during dark times.

Alongside the release of "Bound" earlier this Spring, Lonely The Brave also announced their signing to Easy Life Records, home to previous releases by Black Peaks, Waterparks, Lower Than Atlantis and more.

They continue to work on their as-yet-untitled third album, their first for Easy Life after previous releases on both Hassle and Columbia, which is tentatively planned for release in early 2021.
