“With Well Hung Heart, entertaining and interesting is what you get… a band worth investigating” - Classic Rock

“In fact it’s like the feral lovechild of Howling Wolf, Mick Jagger, Joan Jett and Suzi Quattro fronting a hybrid of Nirvana and the Black Keys. All in a good way. A very good way.” – Mad Mackerel

There is no mistaking the bluesy undercurrent that forms the bedrock of Well Hung Heart’s raw and uncompromising Rock sound.

Well Hung Heart record just as they play live - stripped down to the core, void of multiple takes and studio trickery. The band’s debut album “Young Enough To Know It All” arrived in 2013, self-released through their label GROWvision. The band toured extensively throughout the US, UK, & Europe, sharing the stage with The Virginmarys, opening for Sublime at Ink-N-Iron festival, as well as being billed with Guns N Roses, Bush, and Alice In Chains at Rocklahoma - one of the biggest Rock festivals in the USA. The album also earned the band a prestigious spot at Austin’s SXSW in 2014 as well as currently being nominated for Best Rock Band at the OC Music Awards in Southern California.

Well Hung Heart’s brand new 2014 album “Go Forth and Multiply” was recorded live, with minimal over-dubs, and direct to tape, in a studio close to the bands current home base in Southern California. Sticking to the band’s live set-up, which has Davey playing simultaneous Guitar and Bass, Greta Valenti on Vocals and Keys, and Phil Wilson on Drums Wilson, the band used the recording period as an intense, creative and emotional opportunity to capture album that represents them at this moment. Produced by Well Hung Heart, Mixed by Ryan Hafer, and mastered by Grammy award winning Gavin Lurssen (Queens of the Stone Age, Tom Waits), “Go Forth and Multiply” is set for an April 2014 UK release.

British born-and-raised guitarist Robin Davey cut his teeth with theblues elite; jamming onstage with the likes of Buddy Guy, recording with Mick Jagger, and touring the world as a member of British Blues upstarts, The Hoax. Davey quickly secured a place as the youngest ever inductee into the British Blues Hall Of Fame, and has built a reputation as an eclectic and cutting edge musical mind.

Singer Greta Valenti grew up amongst the deep-rooted musical traditions of New Orleans. Having embraced performance and music on stage since the age of four, she emancipated herself at age 17 to tour the USA with a touring performance group, eventually landing in Southern California and become a staple on the local Punk and Indie scenes. Though the two’s early years were spent on opposite sides of the Atlantic, they have both found common ground in their passion for the raw honesty of music, delivered in its most unprocessed and unrestricted form. Having met via a music video competition on YouTube, the pair eventually became an item, and then a band. With a dose of Hendrix, and a nod to PJ Harvey, Well Hung Heart are just as comfortable channeling Nirvana as they are Leadbelly or Led Zeppelin.
