Butterfly Fan The Inferno have been together for a number of years in various different guises, but it is in their current set up that they’ve been building on the success of a US tour and support slots with the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar and Band of Skulls.

Hailing from Birmingham the three piece are looking for their new double A-side single Sunset Scavangers/ i Coma to transcend the success of their first release, establishing themselves as a permanent fixture of the UK Rock scene.

BFTI’s debut single, Brassneck/Fanatic, was produced by Gavin Monaghan (whose credits include Kings of Leon and Editors) and saw the band experiment with tribal drums and a staccato rhythm. The single was made “Track of the Day” by Classic Rock Magazine, who compared them to Cake and Talking Heads. It also received A-listing on Total Rock Radio. The success of their debut single saw BFTI tour the UK expanding their influence outside of their Midlands stronghold.

The new double A-side single showcases a powerful guitar intro reminiscent of Queens of the Stone Age, and carries the song to its anthemic chorus. The wistful i Coma portrays BFTI in a more melodic light.

BFTI return with a new anthemic sound which sees them determined to break into the mainstream in the only way they know how - without compromise.
