The Lemon Twigs share new single "In My Head"

Early praise for "Everything Harmony":

"Sublime, lilting Todd Rundgren-like loveliness.” - The Sunday Times

"In true Lemon Twigs fashion, sounds like a forgotten slice of 60s baroque pop. Totally perfect, and a little bit heartbreaking." - The Guardian

"We've rarely seen the D'Addario brothers being so openly romantic and vulnerable and, honestly, it could prove rather contagious." - Shindig!

"It’s a subtle, but emphatically creative return. The high, keening vocal is draped in feeling, while the under-stated songwriting urges towards the sublime." - CLASH

"A soft and melancholic throwback." - Stereogum

"The soft rock ballad feels reminiscent of folk greats of the ’60s and ’70s." - Consequence

"Sweet, catchy...liking this one a lot.” - The Needle Drop

"Allow the Lemon Twigs to transport you to sunny Laurel Canyon on even the dreariest winter day." - Alt Press

"A dreamy Beatles-esque ballad." - FLOOD

Today, The Lemon Twigs release “In My Head,” the third single off their upcoming album Everything Harmony that arrives May 5 via Captured Tracks. It was produced and mixed entirely by the brother duo, Brian and Michael D’Addario, with Michael playing guitar, bass and the drums on the track.

“In My Head” is accompanied by a vintage-tinged beachside video directed by The Lemon Twigs and Paul D. Millar, AKA Slugbug.

Of the release, The Lemon Twigs say, “The song’s about the disconnect between your inner and perceived self. The music video was shot mostly at Fort Tilden Beach and juxtaposes the fun in the sun energy of the track with inclement weather and neuroscience.”

The Lemon Twigs will also accompany The Killers for 7 arena dates on their North American tour starting March 16th. The band have already embarked on their own extensive headlining tour across North America and Europe that include a hometown show in New York at Irving Plaza, a SOLD OUT show in West Hollywood at Troubadour, SXSW, and a play at London Calling Festival in the Netherlands.

Everything Harmony is a tour de force that arrives as a full realization of the brother duo of Brian and Michael D’Addario’s distinct blend of pop vocals with sophisticated acoustic-folk melodies and rich textures, inspired by the likes of Simon & Garfunkel, Arthur Russell and Moondog. The album swings between moments of depression and isolation and episodes of dizzying euphoria. It was written, recorded, produced and engineered entirely by The Lemon Twigs across Manhattan, Brooklyn and San Francisco’s Hyde Street Studios.

In the support of the new album The Lemon Twigs, as well as series of dates with The Killers in the US, will play a series of shows across the UK and EU starting in Amsterdam on May 20th.

The prodigiously-talented duo first emerged as The Lemon Twigs in 2016 with their debut LP "Do Hollywood", whose show stopping melodies mined from every era of rock quickly earned fans in Elton John, Questlove and Jack Antonoff. "Go To School", the ambitious 15-track coming-of-age opus, followed in 2018 and solidified the band’s reputation for building grand walls of sound around an audacious concept.

2020’s "Songs For The General Public" earned critical praise from NPR, Vice, Teen Vogue, Stereogum and more with the pair recently working on Weyes Blood’s two most recent albums including 2022’s "And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow" as well as with classic rock hero Todd Rundgren on his most recent record, "Space Force", and with Tim Heidecker on his "Fear Of Death" project.
