Mr Yolk premieres today the 'rapturous' new single 'Star Light Head Light' at The 405 where it was described as 'an awestruck, slow-jam that tells a story of youthful amazement, rendered delightfully through patient and practised instrumentation, 'Star Light Head Light' shows that Jones is a man more than capable of expressing his emotions aurally'. The debut album 'Self Portrait' is out November 10th via Southend Records, and was announced with a premiere of the first single 'Baker Street' at Clash, where it was described as "a wonderfully concise piece of songwriting, with its gentle undulations swiftly taking you to a quite different place." Mr Yolk have also announced an album preview show in Shoreditch, as well as a launch gig in Whitechapel alongside Dog Chocolate, The Plan, and Bamboo.
